Life is like a box of chocolates..
You would desire for Ferrero Roche..
But you end up buying a box of Cadbury's..
And in that, there's an assortment of sweet chocolate and bitter dark chocolates..
Now I guess that's life. It's never going to stay sweet like the Ferrero Roche that you wanted. Its always going to be like that box of Cadbury's, shelling out sweet experiences to savour and some dark bitter ones to teach you to appreciate the sweet ones more. I don't know if you fall in the sweet or bitter ones, honestly maybe its just too early to say. But if you're reading this, then know that to me, you're always the sweet one, although you're, from me, much away. I gave you a box of Ferrero Roche, because I want to sweeten up your life, as much or maybe more than the way you do mine. But I guess fate has its own play, what I want, might never be mine. That doesn't stop me from hoping, though right now I'm just sincerely coping, with the idea that at the end of some day, you and I will be together, just fine.

To You I Want To Say A Thousand Words
I know not
Whether I'm in love with you
Or in love with our friendship.
For you,
Are the girl who's been inhabiting my mind lately
But I must admit,
You're not the first to reside there
But I can say,
That I would not mind
If you were the last
Though I fear,
Your departure is inevitable.
But if you could remain,
I would not take it in vain.
For you're the only one
Keeping me sane.

Hidden Sunshine
It's been long since I've put finger to key, mind to matter, writing out what the eyes see, what the heart feels. Tonight, I feel the need to do it, and I thank you for creating that need in me.
Whenever we go through something dark in life, whenever we get our heart broken, or whenever we lose someone, life becomes something that is lesser than a gift. The living day becomes dark, the night becomes sorrowful; life as it is loses its colour, our heart loses it youth. We lose our sense of bearing, existing for the sake of existing, and our thoughts have no heading.
Even I, went through such a patch. So much pain, so much anguish, so much more than what the heart can endure. Time heals everything, is what I've heard, but when time as it is, cuts your heart with every passing second, healing becomes a distant dream. That is what I thought.
BUT I WAS WRONG
We don't realise that life is a never ending journey. As how the earth continues rotating, as how the wind keeps blowing, so does life, passing on by every day, every night. Every dark, sad, miserable happening is just an episode in life, a dark cloud on a rainy day. Life is like a novel; the chapters end, but the story progresses. The ending of every chapter, prepares the reader for a new chapter ahead. So are these emotions, this pain, this anguish, it comes, happens, and passes, in a way God sees as a method to prepare us for the next chapter in this novel we call life.
Ever experienced a rainy day? As it rains down the Earth, the water flowing into every nook and cranny and crevice there is? Ever felt how your heart feels at that moment? Ever seen the black, heavy rain clouds move past, pushing every penetrating ray of sunshine away from the sky, just covering it and keeping it from shining onto you? That's what these emotions are, that's what these losses are, that's what these sorrows and anguish and sadness are ; those passing rain clouds. As it passes, the rain becomes a drizzle, the water flows a little slower, and the rays of sunshine pierce through the clouds, to shine upon you. The sunshine never left, it was just hidden by those clouds that passed as soon as they came. But come what may, that sunshine will never leave you, just to come up and greet you and shine on you with every passing day. That's life as I see it. Every sadness just comes and goes, but the love, the sunshine that falls on you will never disappear. Someone will always be there to be that sunshine, just to tell you again and again that these are just passing rain clouds, and the sunshine is always there for you, and to me, I see that sunshine in you, and this I dedicate to YOU :).

A letter hoping to reach you...
Its been too long since I've written down anything in this blog. I started for a close friend, and she still is my closest friend, the dearest to heart. Much had changed with the passing year; new places, new acquaintances, new experiences, new responsibilities, and yet albeit all these, I still think back, missing the life I led in the past year, those beautiful moments I shared with my dearest. I yearn to be the person I was, yet I'm helpless, forced to be the person I am. I have not changed for the worse, I am who I was, I will be who I am. Life moves on, life changes who you are, life demands the change, but I detest the change. I hope she understands that nothing is different to me. NO amount of change can change the way I still hold her close to heart. I've grown, yes but deep down, I'm still that insecure, want to be loved, nice guy that she loved, and loves. Life threw me challenges, I evolved to handle it, but evolution had not changed who I am inside, missing you.

Have I Told You Lately...
Have I told you lately that I love you?
Have I told you there's no one above you?
Fill my heart with gladness, take away my sadness
Ease my troubles that's what you do
Oh, the morning sun in all it's glory
Greets the day with hope and comfort too
And you fill my life with laughter, you can make it better
Ease my troubles that's what you do
There's a love that's divine
And it's yours and it's mine
Like the sun at the end of the day
We should give thanks and pray to the One
Say, have I told you lately that I love you?
Have I told you there's no one above you?
Fill my heart with gladness, take away my sadness

PC Fair 2011 and a whole lots more..
Last Saturday was a much awaited day for me. I was so looking forward to attend the Pikom PC Fair at KLCC. I left at 9.30am from college, followed by Mark, Doris, and whole gang of friends. We travelled to KL Sentral by KTM Komuter, and when we reached, Mark, Doris and I decided to head first to KLCC, while the others stayed back to fill up their empty stomachs with breakfast.
We travelled to KLCC by LRT, and what a view to behold when we reached! The place was just teeming with people! We quickly made a beeline for the convention centre, and were amazed at the sheer amount of booths set up there. I've never seen that many IT products being on display, ever in my life!
Anyways, we broke off, and I went in search of what i was there for, a camera. I had already done my researh on what kind of camera I wanted, and finally, I was contemplating againt the Canon IXUS 220 HS, and the Samsung ST600. Both cost RM 999 and were equally matched out. But I had to try them out before deciding. So, I made my way to the Canon booth, and saw the IXUS on display. I tested it, took a few pictures, but somehow I was not so pleased with the quality. To me, the pictures lacked the clarity that we would usually associate with a 14.2 MP camera. I then approached the Samsung booth, where I saw the ST600 on display. I tested it, and again took a few pictures, and I was amazed at the amount of clarity the pictures possessed! It was truly HD imaging.
But then, I saw another camera next to the ST600, the ST550. This model was the predecessor to the ST600, having the same specs as the ST600, except for the 12.2 MP lens. I gave it a try to, just for fun, but I was amazed that the picture quality mirrored the ST600. Plus, the ST550 came with Super Macro, which allows you to take clear pictures of objects at a distance of lesser than 5cm. Moreover, it was so much elegant compared to the ST600, and I felt I had a better grip of the ST550 compared to the ST600 when I held both of them. The ST550 was priced at RM 699, which was a better bargain and it came with a free MP3 player, casing and a screen protector. I made up my mind, and paid up for the ST550. It was definitely worth it.
Leaving KLCC, we went to SungeiWang Plaza for a quick lunch, and crossed the road towards Low Yat Plaza, Malaysia's largest IT mall. It was just as amazing as the PC Fair, with each floor designated to one kind of product, for example, the 1st floor was for handphones, and the second floor for PCs. After a while, we went to Times Square, where the Petronas Battle of the Bands were being held. What I did not know was that there was also a Ducati Roadshow at the same time. DUCATI!! My favourite bikes are all Ducatis, and it was a dream come true for me to see so many bikes on display.
The newest Ducati bike, the Diavel Carbon was also in display. It was more than a beauty. It was a masterpiece. The place was just so filled with likewise, bike aficionados and members of the media. After much oggling of the bikes, we decided to hit back to college and after a long and tiring journey, reached back at around 9.00pm. But whatever it may be, the trip was worth it.

Happy Birthday Maegyvear!!!
I was going to the library in college about 8.30 pm when a friend of mine told me that they are celebrating Maegyvear's @ Maegy birthday at the Bintang Walk (a narrow path dividing the two blocks in KTT) at about 9.30pm.
Now, who is Maegy you may ask, and to answer your question, Maegy is first and foremost, my classmate and a very good friend. He is one of the most popular and well - respected student in KTT, and in short, a gem of a guy.
It was already 10.00pm when Maegy walked along the corridor leading to the Bintang Walk, and we purposely switched the lights off. Somehow, it didn't strike him odd that the lights were off (it was meant to be a surprise for him). As he reached the Walk, we started singing "Happy Birthday" and you should have seen his face! Haha a mix of surprise, warmth, Excitement and awe were just so evident. Following that, Maegy followed the procedures of every birthday party as usual, and surprise was in store when Edwin "unveiled" the poster they created for Maegy. We had it stappled to the notice board, with it having an enlarged picture of Maegy and signatures and wishes all around it.
What striked me on Maegy's birthday is the fact that all of us have become so close to one another, as friends and comrade - in - arms, that we stand out for each other, and we celebrate each other. This was not the 1st birthday party in KTT, obviously, but knowing that all of us are going to leave KTT soon, its a real good time to just sit back at these moments, and reflect on what the past 2 years that we had spent in KTT has taught us. It has forged bonds of friendship among people who, before this, were complete strangers to one another.
It has taught us the value of life, and the joy we garner in helping and being there for one another. If not anything, KTT definitely has made us into better people, with the heart and will to make others happy, and I wish that all of us would stay the same even in changing times.
